My mother died in the hospital following a bout of pneumonia. She was treated with great kindness and care and made as comfortable as possible. The staff were consistently careful, respectful and tactful with us, the family. They kept us well informed and involved us in the essential decisions, while helping us understand how serious the situation was. She made a peaceful and easy death. My father was left confident that everything had been done for her and that she had been well-treated to the end. That was really important for us all.
