"End of life care"

My dad was in ward 17 recently where he received the most wonderful and loving care at the end of his life. The staff without exception looked after him with respect and great dignity. Not only that, they looked after us, his family, in the same way. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All of the staff were fantastic, form the people who kept us supplied with tea to dad's consultant. Of special note are the nurse who looked after us at the end of dad's life, the nurse who gave us very special care and another nurse, who dad had a particular soft spot for. All the staff gave above and beyond the call of duty. On behalf of the family I would like to say thanks.
