"Gynaecology in wishaw general hospital"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as the patient),

Sent to wishaw from out of hours

Went to gynae bloods taken and assessed by doc. saw registrar who told me to return home and come back next day. This I did. was asked to change into hospital gown in toilet and left clothes in waiting room floor whilst I went for a scan. Returned and the registrar same on rep from previous night. Did not physically assess me. Doc decided that I had endometriosis and treated me as such. I explained that I didn't think thus was the case. I also asked about my bloods that were taken the previous night and was told that my inflammatory markers were up. And the said give me a urine specimen. I was discharged still in pain. I was asked to contact the ward for blood results that I did on 4 separate occasions and was constantly told to call back we are too busy, doc in theatre etc, thus went on for four days when I was admitted as an emergency in another Heath board very ill and spent 5 days in hospital.

If this doc had physically examined me they would have realised that it was not what had been diagnosed. Shocking
