"Self-concious uncomfortable"

About: Colchester General Hospital

Appointment with Neurologist, no acknowledgment when I walked in no "hello or good morning" another man sitting in office studying me, wasn't introduced felt uncomfortable. Could not find list of medications Neurologist acted quite irritated by this. I only see a neurologist every year so felt very unhappy with this appointment. Only in appointment for 10 minutes. I have Parkinson's so do find moving or communication a bit difficult . He told the nurse make appointed for a year no acknowledgment to me. Perhaps next year will be better!

I apologise you’ve not had a good patient experience. We try really hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients, their relatives or carers. We would like the opportunity to discuss your experiences more fully and to apologise in person. If you are willing I would appreciate it if I could ask the matron to contact you. Could you email me, using the reference “Comment on Neurology at RDEE4-Colchester General Hospital at 10/04/2014 16:22:06”, please? Many thanks Paul Searle, Head of Communications Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust info@colchesterhospital.nhs.uk
