"Acute stroke unit"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

My dad had a serious stroke two and a half weeks ago and was admitted to the acute stroke unit. His care there was exemplary, the staff were warm and friendly and at all stages kept us informed of his progress and treatment plan. I feel very lucky that this facility was available to him and he's now been transferred to the stroke rehab unit at Tonbridge Cottage Hospital where he continues to make progress. My grateful thanks go to all the staff on the acute stroke unit for all that they did for him.
