"Urology outpatoents"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

Amazing staff. Kind, considerate and thoughtful-all of them. My husband was dreading this camera investigation but never felt a thing and other patients came out smiling too My only unrelated whinge. Car parking. Not enough parking for less mobile and elderly outpatients within easy reach of the main doors. A large multi-storey with lifts close to reception would be so much better. When someone is ill the walk to the car park, particularly if you are parked at the top is like a hike. I know there is a drop off point by the doors but there ought to then be seating just inside to leave the patient while you then park.

Thank you for this feedback and kind comments in respect of the care provided. Car parking is a perennial issue for most hospitals, but we would say that the amount of parking at the new Pinderfields Hospital has been significantly increased over that available at the old site. A multi storey car park was considered during the design stage but the Trust was told that planning permission would not be forthcoming.
