"I do not like the way I am being treated at pebble..."

I find that some staff at pebble lodge can be rude, intrusive and offending of my personal needs. On several occassions have I been named and labelled about myself by staff and then spoken about and been joked about behind my back. Please note that these are issues I feel uncomfortable disccussing and the fact that two members of staff I later saw talking and joking about me made me feel very disettled and upset to this day and I find it a violation of trust. Whilst still being a current patient at pebble lodge, I am still having issues with staff and feeling a disloyality and lack of trust whilst staying as an in-patient. M

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with you feedback. We are concerned about the issues that you raise with regard staff attitude at Pebble Lodge. We notice from your comments that these are issues you feel uncomfortable discussing. It may help to discuss these issues with the advocate that visits the unit on a weekly basis or who can attend the unit at other times if requested and could then support you in trying to resolve the issues you have raised. The advocacy service can be contacted on 01202 525643. Alternatively you may wish to speak to me directly or another member of the team. Stuart Lynch, Specialist Nurse Practitioner
