"Worst experience. Terrible."

My partner has bipolar disorder and he has had few relapses last couple years. Now I am not even bothered to contact emergency services at st Anne's, not even bother to ring crisis team, care coordinator, home treatment team since it is just a wasting time. One of the staff at Canning crescent centre told me to leave him and go on holiday while he was unwell and rang for a care person to come and see us. It is not acceptable. Desperate for help I rang Mind, all mental health organisations - they advised me to complain. Canning crescent centre had to do investigation and what they said was to cover their stories up!! When my partner is not well, I HAVE NO TIME MAKING STORIES UP, I JUST NEED HELP! After that incident I just gave up. Once home treatment team was on their way - I had to wait 2 hours. When they didn't show up I rang them, they were on their way back to st Anne's hospital, because they got lost!! How could it be possible??? Even 30 mns delay, he could get high and manic that it is too late so that he needs to be sectioned. I witnessed one of the staff in the ward used racially offensive words to a man who was obviously not well and under medication - I wish I could get their name, time and which ward etc so that I could bring my experience to an attention. It was seriously disgusting to observe. When my partner had a manic episode recently and I had to call emergency service and police was involved. I was asked why crisis team was not involved. I told them why that they were useless/wasting my time - the police agreed with me and told me that they had so many complaints about their services and they themselves had unpleasant experiences with st Anne's hospital - the police said that they would make an official complaint on behalf of me. I have worst experiences with the hospital and their services. I have been to Whittington/Royal Free where staff are professional, efficient, understanding and kind to patients, I wish we were in their catchment area. If any hospital is to close due to governments cut, st Anne's the one.
