"Excellent care by doctors and nurses. Thank you..."

Thank you for the kindness and professionalism of the A&E staff (the consultants and all the nursing staff that was involved) during our son's treatment a few days ago for a very painful and aggressive parapharyngeal cellulitis. Even though it was a very very busy time, everybody did their best to provide early and appropriate treatment to Georgios, which resulted in his fast and full recovery within a few days. Their warm and caring approach to Georgios' pain and our anxiety was equally impressive and important. Having worked as an ENT doctor in the QEH (my last clinical day being tomorrow), I had the opportunity to cooperate daily with the nurses and doctors in A&E. Every single time they proved their ability and willingness to care for our patients in the most elegant and skilled way. Being on the other side of the fence though - especially as a parent - is an entirely different thing and I am so pleased that this felt just perfect as well.
