"Parents view"

Having read some of the reviews on this site we were very apprehensive when our daughter was admitted to Bluebell Ward. She has a bipolar disorder and needed to have her medication balanced. However all doubts vanished when we had time to see for ourselves the excellent work on this ward. It was never going to be easy to spend the holiday period in hospital away from her children but all staff did their best to ensure a festive atmosphere. Our grandchildren could visit their mother daily as a family room was always made available. Opening presents together helped to make a family Christmas possible even under otherwise difficult circumstances. Relevant information was given to us as necessary and always with our daughters consent. Our daughter has certainly benefitted from the care and professionalism of the staff on Bluebell Ward and we can't thank them enough.
