"Trauma and orthopedic clinic and day surgery..."

From the initial clinic appointment, the nursing staff ,consultation with the surgeon, pre assessment checks, the appointment booking staff, day surgery staff, anaesthetists and post opertative support, I can honestly say this was an exceptional experience. At no stage did I feel that my respect or privacy was compromised. I was always listened to and my many questions and additional requests were answered. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. The facilities were fine, however the ward was a little cold for my liking. The wait was long. This in itself was not a major issue because I was kept informed and there was a valid reason for the delay. I would like to thank all of the staff involved in the preperation of my treatment as well as the operation itself. They all played a part in minimising my anxieties. The seamless experience I have had suggests good team work across departments and possibly picking up slack where there may be shortfalls, although I did not see them. Rarely am I so impressed with every stage of a process but in this case I am. Thank you for the excellent service and attention to detail.
