Got referred by GP for jaundice and possible gallstones on the Monday eve, spent 3/4hrs there just to have a blood test and speak to a doc. Then sent home still in pain and yellow, plus not eating or drinking since the Friday.
The following day they told me to be there for 10am for a scan. Once there I got told my scan was at 1:50pm. So had 3/4hrs waiting around still in pain and discomfort. Once had scan then had blood test which were abnormal livers then had to wait till 5 to hear from doc and the surgeon just to be sent home at 6pm.
That night the pain got worse and I still have the pain. But no point in going back as I'll just get fobbed off and sent home.
Felt a lot of time wasted hanging around and car park fees plus childcare too.
Think the AEC (ambulatory emergency care) unit need to be more hands on and supply info quickly.
Still have the pain now: ( bad experience in all.
