I was taken to A&E with a severe life threatening asthma attack and from the moment I arrived I was treated excellently. I was seen immediately in A&E and transferred to the High Dependancy Unit/Critical Care unit in under 2 hours, where it was decided my condition was too serious to be dealt with by a small unit and was transferred to Lincoln County by a superb team consisting of a consultant anesthetist, nurse and two paramedics. I was kept fully aware of everything that was happening and was made to feel at ease despite the seriousness of my condition. Overall I was very pleased with the care received, all be it for a short period of about 6 hours.
"Good care and communication."
