"Location confussion"

About: Sutton Hospital

The site is indicated as being in Cotswold Road. Do not use this entrance by car if you want to retain your sanity! Drove one way around what appeared to be a film set for the walking dead. Boarded up windows and a weird absence of staff. Given that the parking area signs all indicated for 'Staff Only', I just wondered where this cast of thousands actually were as the whole site appeared devoid of any such staff. Followed the sign, naturally, to the Visitors Car Park, to find after two circuits of the one way system, that no such area existed. Parked anyway with a view to following the 'Main Hospital' signs on foot. The first led to 2 large white doors down a pathway. Both locked! Retracing our steps, a kind lady in a nearby kiddies nursery spotted our bewilderment, and directed us to the next path along, which eventually led to the Eye Dept., which is actually reached by a totally different road (Chiltern Rd I think). Service, once there, was perfectly good by NHS standards, and we weren't clamped on return to our car, so don't tell anyone, but it was free!
