"great orthopedic centre"

About: Trafford General Hospital

I had to have both hands operated on for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, I was seen for my first consultation, the following week I had electro conductivity tests, two weeks later I had my right hand operated on and six weeks later I had my left hand operated on, with the last stitches removed on Christmas Eve. From the receptionist to the nurses, theatre staff and surgeons they were all bar none friendly, caring and respectful. The orthopedic centre at Trafford is clean with plenty of comfortable chairs, the car park is 20ft from the door, the ward was clean and warm and the post op buscuits were nice. Thank you Trafford for a pleasant experience at a time you need it, they may have been run of the mill ops but I was made to feel as important as the guy in the next bed having his hip replaced after my twenty minute operation!

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on the Patient Opinion website following your surgery at Trafford General Hospital. It was very kind of you to compliment the staff as it is always good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. We were reassured to read that you received a high standard of care during your treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome and that you found our staff to be friendly, caring and respectful throughout. Treating patients with care and respect is a priority for all Trust staff and I am pleased to see that this is reflected in your posting. The Manchester Elective Orthopaedic Centre at Trafford is a new centre and we are pleased that you found the facilities to be both clean and comfortable. It was also good to read that you enjoyed the post op biscuits!

I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the staff involved in your care at the Orthopaedic Centre and they were very happy to receive them. We wish you well and trust your hands are continuing to recover well.
