Dad was admitted to the LRI from his care home with a chest infection. He was initially assessed in the EDU and then moved to FIelding Johnson Ward. The treatment and care he received on both wards was excellent. The staff were calm and courteous and very kind. They kept my sister and I fully informed at all times of Dad's progress and his doctor took the time on two separate occasions to introduce himself to us and tell us how dad was doing. I couldn't praise the staff enough. The ward was spotlessly clean as were the visitor facilities and toilets. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to the staff on both wards. I hope they get to read this!
"Excellent care for dad in EDU and Fielding Johnson..."
