"Excellent care for dad in EDU and Fielding Johnson..."

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Dad was admitted to the LRI from his care home with a chest infection. He was initially assessed in the EDU and then moved to FIelding Johnson Ward. The treatment and care he received on both wards was excellent. The staff were calm and courteous and very kind. They kept my sister and I fully informed at all times of Dad's progress and his doctor took the time on two separate occasions to introduce himself to us and tell us how dad was doing. I couldn't praise the staff enough. The ward was spotlessly clean as were the visitor facilities and toilets. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to the staff on both wards. I hope they get to read this!

Dear reviewer, Thank you for posting your review to share your thoughts on EDU/Fielding Johnson. We are very proud of our teams and it is great to see this reflected in your Dad's experience with us. We have passed your comments directly onto both teams you mention, they will be very touched by your kind words :-) Dont forget, you can nominate a member of staff or team for a Caring at its Best award via our website https://www.leicestershospitals.nhs.uk/patients/nominate-a-member-of-our-staff-for-an-award/ Best wishes Communications Team Leicester's Hospitals
