"Delay to my cancer treatment"

About: Uch at Westmorland Street

I was dicharged after lung surgery 17 december 2013. The staff told me that a follow -up appointment would be arranged with mr. Lawrence ( my surgeon ) within a few weeks. It's now april 2014 and no member of the hospital staff have contacted me for the follow - up appointment. I have written a letter of complaint to the hospital and sent a copy to (pals) . To date, I have not even received an acknowledgement from the surgeons secretary or the patient advisory service. I am awaiting cancer treatment, which is being held up by this continuous delay. Cancer treatment should not be delayed!

We are very sorry to hear about your concerns regarding your follow-up at the Heart Hospital and the fact you haven't had a response from the consultant's secretary or PALS. We would be grateful if you could contact the CEO's office so that we can investigate this matter further.
