"Emergency Admission"

Copy of letter written to hospital......... I was admitted, via ambulance, to QA on Wednesday evening 26th February with severe chest pains. Initially I was seen in the A&E department and later transferred to the Medical Assessment Ward (Orange) for an overnight stay. I feel I must write to you to comment on my treatment during my short stay with your hospital. Without exception I must commend you on the professionalism and kindness of all your staff. Doctors, nurses, porters and x-ray staff not only displayed the most commendable levels of professional skill but did so in a humane and comforting way that made a very anxious elderly gentleman feel in very safe hands. I would be grateful if you could pass my very genuine thanks to all the staff concerned, and if ever, heaven forbid, I should find myself in need of you services again in the future at least I will have the consolation of knowing I could not be in better hands.
