Hi, Mum had to visit ED in early March following a fall in which she fractured her wrist. She required the fracture to be manipulated into place before the first plaster could be put on. She was treated by one of the nurses who was brilliant and gave us both every confidence that he could do the manipulation. He did a really great job and was fab with my Mum, putting her at her ease and explaining everything he was doing. Before she went home he arranged someone from hospital discharge to see her and they subsequently visited her a few times at home- just to make sure she was coping ok with her hand out of action. This gave me some reassurance as my mum lives alone and I was not able to arrange her 24/7 support. I do work for the health service, not Sherwood Forest though but my family are also regular users of the services provided at Kings Mill, experiences have not always been positive but I think it is important to feedback good and bad experiences. This has been a really positive experience.
