What I liked

The hospital calls itsent a "World Famous Centre" but sadly it hasn't been to Europe recently!

What could be improved

Curtains around cubicles - very difficult to keep sterile.

Way reception staff have of NEVER telling you if a Consultant is delayed, so you wait an hour before enquiring, only to be told "Dr. X is still operating". If they had the courtesy to inform you you could go off and do something else and return in an hour or so.

No support groups for cancer - yet other hospitals have this.

Anything else?

Fire Drill. There was one whilst I was there and patients were helping other patients down stairs, whilst staff strolled out chatting to each other.

Staff stood around totally dis-interested, whilst another patient asked workmen sitting on benches to move.
