"Cancellation of Appointments"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

I have some respiratory problems and have been receiving treatment from Stoke Mandeville Hospital. As of late the service you provide has been shocking, the last time that I saw a specialist was in Aug 2013.

The next appointment that you booked for was for the 11 Feb 2014 to see the RXQ Physiologist.

I was then to see Anjani Prasad on the 17th February as a follow up.

That was changed to April 28th. That was changed to June 16th. This has now been changed to 21st July 11: 30.

It makes me wonder if I will ever get to see the Chest Specialist again! !

This sort of behaviour is absolutely ridiculous, it means that a period of 11 months will have gone by from one appointment to another, and I am far from confident that you won't change it again before the July appointment.

If I knew just where to make a complaint to an Health Service Ombudsman I would send it to them.

The reputation of Stoke Mandeville Hospital in all departments is rapidly going downhill.
