"My Hearing Aid"

About: Broomfield Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I attended for a review hearing test in late march and had the plastic tubing changed on my hearing aid.

The technician altered the length of the plastic tube for me, because it was too long, but unfortunately I think it is too short now and has caused my ear to become very sore.

I visited the Clinic this morning on the off chance that they could perhaps just give me a piece of tubing for me to cut to the correct length, but was told no they were too busy and to make an appointment. I explained that it was very painful to wear the hearing aid and that my ear was so sore, but was told there was nothing they could do. So I have to put up with the pain. I realise the clinic was really busy and I was not asking to see anyone just to give me a piece of tubing for me to do myself, but the answer was no.
