"Got my nose back!"

I came here with horrible injuries to my nose. The tip almost completely sliced off including the cartilage and other gashes on the bridge of my nose... (don't ask!) A month and a half later it's barely as noticeable as I thought it would be! The stitching that the Doctor did was a work of art! Very fine stitching, even the nurse who removed the stitches was amazed! During the whole stitching ordeal, the doctor was very kind, he apologised everytime I flinched from the pain. He gave some great advice on how to care for my nose once I left and also handed over some ointments which really helped. He also recommended an amazing scar reduction gel which I got on prescription straight after removing the stitching (and it seems to be working very well). All in all, even though I was in a painful situation, the staff at Northwick Park Hospital really made me feel as if I was being well looked after. Great experience! (minus the painful nose bit)
