"helping my brother take back his life"

About: Mill View Hospital

hello i would like to thank the staff of the millview hospital in brighton for helping my brother take back control of his life and helping him to regain the will power to live. at first on a skype call to where i spoke to my brother, who no longer wanted to live and was so under weight due to not eating for 3 weeks, then to see him in the millview hospital eating 3 meals a day and no longer drinking and shaking really took me by surprise how much difference they could make in just 3 days. he was smiling and looking forward to going over to his allotment and planting his seeds and to going away on holiday. the only thing he didnt like about the millview was that he couldnt go into the gardens below due to mixing with others who where also staying at the hospital at the time and could be dangerous and that he couldnt have his tablet to use in his room as others could have use of there i phones which seems a bit unfair, but all round he said all the staff where amazing and where lovely so a big thank you to you all for giving back my brother his life and making him smile again /thank you x

Thank you for your feedback - it is really good to know that Mill View has made such a big difference to your brother - I have passed your comments onto the matron Mark Melling so that he can share them with the staff there Kind regards Rachael Kenny Patient and Public Involvement Manager Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
