Before i begin i fully understand the priority process on waiting to be seen in A&E. Recently my girlfriend starting getting dull aching down her arms with shooting pains from her breast area.I immediately said you need to see a doctor,After ringing them they were unable to fit her in the same day,But if the problems persist to get to the A&E department,Which is what we did,Upon trying to find a parking space for around 30mins,We continued to the desk in A&E.My girlfriend gave the nurse behind the glass, the basic symptoms that she was experiencing. We were then asked to take a seat and we would be called for an consultation.Around 30mins later a nurse came and sat next to her in the "waiting room" and asked 'whats wrong' in front of the complete waiting room! At this time i thought this is ridiculous no privacy whats so ever! The nurse then said it would be 2hrs + to be seen...So we waited...As the parking ticket was due to expire,I checked with the desk,Just in curiosity to see if i needed longer on the car park,Only to be spoken to like dirt. This woman was the most arrogant woman i have ever met.She said and i quote " Don't worry there isn't anyone pushing in front of you"! I think you have around another 2 hours to wait anyway ! Straight faced and clearly didn't have any time for me. I was fuming..Was this simply because i asked? Or the fact she hated her job..I'm not sure.Upon this we decided to leave....Avoid this place like the plague...I'm pleased to say that we are going elsewhere.
"Waiting.....and waiting,profesional,Yeah right!"
