"Hysterectomy and stay on ward 14"

I had a hysterectomy at kings mill hospital on 19 march. The staff on ward 14 were great - treated me caringly, with respect and professionalism . They ensured my needs were cared for, that my pain was minimised and were bright and cheerful, all making time to talk despite being very busy. The theatre staff too were excellent and the consultant and his team superb - ensuring a good outcome. I was very nervous about the procedure but kings mill were excellent - great staff and lovely facilities. Ignore the bad press - we have a great local hospital.
