About: Salisbury District Hospital

My 90 year old Mother was subjected to the pedantic, arrogant and patronising ways of the social worker. Clearly inexperienced, clearly having a dislike of elderly people, possibly of people in general! She made dangerous decisions pertaining to mothers future. She did not listen to anyone least of all the professionals. We were utterly dumbfounded by her behaviour.

Thank you for your comment and we are sorry that you felt that the social worker's attitude and decisions were unprofessional. While adult social care is managed by the local authority, clearly you have raised issues here that I'm sure that they would want to look into. Please contact our Customer Care Department on 0800 374 208 so that we can forward it on to the relevant local authority social work department so that they can deal with this properly for you.
