"Children's A & E"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

Today I had the misfortune to take my son to the A & E department at Preston. From the moment we walked through the door at reception we were dealt with by friendly and cheerful staff. As we moved through the department everything that was going to happen was explained to us. When my son had his x-ray he said the man was very kind and nice to him. The nurse who treated my son was empathetic and humorous which created a calm atmosphere. She fully explained her diagnosis and gave us clear instruction to follow. The whole process was very efficient and we were on our way within an hour. 10 out of 10. I hope I don't have to attend A&E again but if I did Preston would be where I put my trust.

Thanks for your comments. Hearing about positive experiences really motivates our staff, and helps us identify where we’re getting things right so we can share good practice across all of our services.
