"Children's A and E"

We attended FPH on Wed 26th March. (Parent and 16 yr old son with head injury) The receptionist swiftly allocated him to children's ED as the queue was shorter. He was "triaged" within 3 mins and quickly bumped up the queue to see a doctor straight away (luckily it wasn't that busy at 1:30pm on a Wed afternoon) All staff were highly professional and helpful throughout. A CT scan was quickly organised and results were back promptly. Observations were made regularly throughout his time in ED and after 4 or 5 hours he was discharged. Unfortunately once we got home he began vomitting so we had to return. Again the treatment was excellent throughout.....initially the same team were on duty (although a rather longer wait this time) We would particularly like to thank the consultant who was on duty that evening for his professional manner and clear and informative explanation of the scan. My son was fascinated by it. Faultless throughout....The NHS at its best. Thank you all.
