"A positive experience"

our son fractured his wrist,there was waiting but all was worth waiting for. 1.The dr who saw him for his xray results was fantastic,brought up his xrays and deeply involved both of us.He saw that the break needed surgery and went to every length to make it so. 2.The nurses were fantastic,sweet and caring,focused and good. 3.The ambulance crew were brilliant.Made us feel relaxed and that all was well. 4.The phoenix ward were beyond fantastic,they looked after my son with the same love and care of a mother.They were chatty and kind,made time for us. 5.The aneasthesist was brilliant,the play nurse,who came to prepare him for what would happen when he went for surgery,they made a painful experience into something more positive. 6.The surgeon explained everything with respect and in great detail,I knew I was able to trust him,the way I would trust my child with his father. 7.They called for me as soon as he had recovered,walked me up to the room. 8.They kept him in for as long as needed,checking him constantly making sure all was perfect. 9.he was fed well,and cared for. I10.I was cared for staying in the hospital with him over night. They had a teenage room,and play rooms,we had fun playing games . Thankyou Broomfield childrens ward.
