"I hope I'm never unfortunate enough to go there!"

About: Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust

Disgraceful place. A couple of good members of staff and the nicest person there is the man that brings the tea round! We could not have been more polite and considerate to the staff yet were treated really badly and my father was treated badly, spoken down to and his needs ignored constantly. I can't express this enough without going into personal detail. They hadn't even read his history, which I had to tell them about. Only then did they show him any care. This conversation was only after one member of staff telling me that he wasn't helping himself. They had no idea about what he had had done to him while in intensive care, prior to coming to st Lukes. My Mum politely went to the office to find someone to help Dad while he was struggling with something and she was told 'we are in a meeting you know!' There were no other staff around. One woman in particular was unpleasant and I fear for anyone who goes there who doesn't have any visitors, as they will probably get ignored and treated with disrespect. Having had experience of several hospitals in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, I was Completely disgusted with St Luke's. No amount of money can make some of those people care. If you have the choice, don't go there.
