Anything else?
my wife and i have just given borth by emergency c section. We had quite a tough time leading up to labour being established and actually turned up at the hospital twice. my wife was in pre labour contractions but they made us feel safe and reasuured that something was going to happen soon(ish). We eventually saw a consutlant after 5 days of pre labour and she was amazing!!!! Really caring, encouraging and genrally a lovely person. we ended up on the delivery ward that night. 20 hrs of labour later, with only 7cms of dilation, an emergency c sections was advised and readily accepted. 6 nights of no sleep, 20 hrs of labour we would have agreed to anything but the midwife staff and consultant explained everything to us in detail in clear and easy to understand terms and we where very happy. our baby was born yesterday at 3.57pm, everyone in surgery was amazing, keeping our spirits up, explainig what is going on without gory details and being really supportive. since then we have been on the main ward and the midwifes and nurses (infact every member of staff) have been fantastic. I have never been ill, neither has my wife so i don't have much experience of hospitals, but the staff i have encountered at warrington general have been amazing. everyone seems to give a dam and really care. specails mentiones go to all the nurses and the consultant. All absolute angels in my eyes.
cheers
John
