"attending the hospital as an emergency (a heart..."

About: The New Selby War Memorial Hospital

A couple of weeks ago I had to be taken to selby hospital by a work colleague as I had begun to feel very ill during the morning. I was dropped off at the hospital door by my friend while he went to park and by the time I had walked in to reception I was seriously poorly and could just about stand. The ladies behind reception recognised the seriousness of my condition straight away and had a nurse out to me immediately who took me through to be treated then within minutes there was an ambulance on its way to york hospital cardiac unit with me in it having been ecg'd and treated for the heart attack I had suffered. I would like to thank all the staff there for the prompt and effective treatment I received while briefly in their care... it may well have saved my life ... Thank You
