I recently spent 7 days undergoing alcohol detoxification in the Smithfield Unit in Manchester, I cannot praise this unit enough. The staff were amongst some of the most professional, understanding people I have ever met. The combination of medication and groups helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life.
There are always times in life when thank you does not seem enough and this is one of them. There are no words to express my gratitude for this unit. I am now able to get my life back on track, and will never forget the contribution that Smithfield made.
