"dad care"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

My dad had a car crash in Preston n was send here where he was treated at a+e straight away he broke 9 bones in each leg knee down and both themers 4 ribs fractured neck and spine and clasped lung and had to be resuscitated they worked with my dad really when but has he was pritty much out of it kept his family informed at all times and made sure we understood what was happing and what was needed He followed with loads of operations where the ccu their was great my dad got on with everyone but as for after car their was two ladies staff was very ignorent towards my dad and rude to us Then my dad went to ward 16 I think it is well the staff their I can't thank anoth for the kind caring helping support they gave my dad even one staff member on her day off rang in to see how my dad was going and to see if he got home ok back to Oldham they always popped over to dad ward area to have a chat and brew while he couldn't sleep at night as it was hard for us to visit from Oldham to Preston with no car so went like ones a week the staff gave my dad the best company they could and my mum also in the crash her bone went one way and thumb went the other was horrid they treated her with car and mum had a small operation and on her ward 15 I think he got a close bond to A staff member there too who was very caring and nice with my mum lovely staff and children's ward was very helpful and caring helping my look after little lad so I could visit my dad on ccu and my mum on ward 15 brill staff and can't thank them enough if it wasn't far then are the air amerlance team I'd have lost my dad fore sure and my mum
