I had a full hysterectomy at a private hospital (very well known) and unfortunately they released me too early and there were complications with my surgery. The moment the paramedics sent me to Darent Valley I knew I would be genuinely cared for by the porters straight through to the consultants The difference between this NHS hospital and the private hospital I originally attended was vast and purely based on the fact that I received care from staff who genuinely cared and did not want my cash. I would like to say a huge thank you to the doctor and his team as well as all the nursing staff on both the day and night shift on the mulberry ward! You really can't go wrong with this NHS hospital and had I not had such a long waiting time to go to Darent I would have chosen this hospital over the private hospital any day!
