"i came from abroad visiting a patient"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

I visited a very sick friend on ward F9 and was astonished by the unprofessionalism of the nurses on that ward. There seemed to be more joking going on than actual help that was needed. I asked two different nurses to help me make my friends bed after he had been sat in a chair from three in the afternoon until eight o clock at night! They kept saying i will send someone. They were by no means rushed off their feet as they were laughing and joking behind their nurses station. My friend had to provide an own blanket as the hospital had run out of them. I saw how dirty the ward was and watched the cleaner in the hallway who supposed to clean the toilets, walk in and straight out of them..so no cleening had been done! The wards are full of clutter and a lack of organisation. I am sorry to say so but i am glad I live abroad and iff in need of treatment I know it will be done with respect and clenlyness.
