I lve 120 miles away from the Christie Hospital.

From the volunteer driver who set off at 3am to pick me up at 5am and the driver who dropped me off at home at 10.30pm the next day and then had a 2 1/2 hour drive home, to the cheerful receptionists, nurses, doctors,appointment schedulers to the cleaners and the people who served me meals and drinks, they were all wonderful, everyone was pleasant and respectful.

Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done straight away- I never had to wait for anything.

When I came for outpatient appiontments I have been seen early when I have arrived early so have never had to wait.

The hospital has good cheap meals in its restaurant and its only £1.50 to park your car in the car park for 4 hours.

If you've got to go to hospital - Christies is the best !!!!!
