"People under pressure can only do their best and the people I have met do just that"

I go to Kings Mill Hospital as an inpatient every 4 to 6 weeks. Sometimes although I have booked a bed in advance, there are delays when I arrive and I can understand the difficulties that arise with emergencies and unexpected admissions. The staff are without exception helpful and keep me informed whilst I wait. After over a year of visiting ward 33 I can say that the nurses and care workers are always caring, helpful and efficient. The doctors I see to carry out the procedure are always kind and helpful and approachable.

All the staff I see from carers to cleaners are friendly and do their best for the patient.

Having met a lot of the staff many times now I know their names and I feel that some are friends who understand my anxiety and concerns. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff on this ward.

I would also add that the consultant and his secretary are also excellent and feel they take a real interest in my well being.
