"Efficient and caring A&E care for my daughter"

I brought my 8 year old daughter through to Scarborough Hospital A&E from 18 miles away (we don't have an A&E department in our town) after she split her head open quite badly on her scooter after colliding with a brick wall. The reception staff admitted us quickly and we were not sat around waiting very long as my daughter was in distress. She was cared for and put at ease at all times and we were well briefed on what they planned to do to her. She was seen by a doctor who was kind, considerate and did a fantastic job stitching her up with lots of reassurance & minimum pain and suffering.
