"More interested in their interests than treating..."

About: King George Hospital

Waited an age between appointments and was ignored when I eventually saw someone. The doctors seemed to be very interested in treatment when it involved a drug trial for a condition I don't have, but lost all interest with my case when I'm no longer going to be involved. Very angry that no one makes contact when I asked what was going on and eventually just got a copy of my notes and used a library to look up possible conditions. Had I taken the drugs they wanted to push on me, I would have been taking very toxic chemotherapy drugs instead of just a multivitamin from the supermarket!

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry to hear that you felt your doctor was not interested in your case. To be able to look into this further I will require more details from you. Please contact me through our PALS team on 01708 435 454 or email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk with more information. Yours sincerely, Stephen Burgess Medical Director
