"Removal of Venus Lake"

I attended the day case dept. to have the above removed, on the day I was telephoned by one of the staff to ask if I could attend earlier than my appointment which I did. On arrival the check in procedure was professional, a nurse then showed me to a bed in the ward and took further details and carried out a number of medical checks, she informed me that the Doctor would be along shortly to look at the notes. When the Doctor came to see me he explained the procedure and within minutes I was in the theatre and the procedure took place again with the Doctor explaining what he was doing,back on the ward I was asked if I wanted a cup of tea or coffee which I accepted, the nurse said she would telephone my wife to come and collect me. Having had a Bad experience at Russells Hall Hospital a few years ago, I must complement the staff at Corbett Hospital
