My 7 day stay in Sonning ward totally exceeded my expectations and was by far the best of the 5 stays I have had in my adult life despite the fact that it involved a 10 hour double breast reconstruction op at 60 and was therefore potentially the most difficult. From the moment of admission until discharge I remained totally unstressed by the treatment I received, and at all times felt informed, cared for and considered. All of the medical and auxiliary staff were courteous and respectful at all times and the environment was clean and bright. I can't praise the nursing and other caring staff highly enough and would confident to put myself in their care at any time. I would be happy to provide any further info about the experience at any time. Obviously hitches and changes to plan are always going to occur but they were always dealt with in a confident and stress free manner and so that you can see that this is real feedback, the one thing I will point out is that I seemed to disappear into the Bermuda Triangle whilst in recovery at least four hours and my concerned children were not able to track me down via the ward at this time, and grew pretty agitated having not being able to track me down Rebecca Jennings
