" I left my appointment reassured"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I had a 9. 00 appointment at Dr. Puri's cardiology clinic, Tameside Hospital. I booked in at reception at 8. 45. I was greeted by a nurse before 9 (apologising that kept waiting ). When I met Dr. Puri he shook my hand & listened to my concerns & acted on them. I was very impressed that I had 2 investigations & returned to see him within an hour. The member of staff who performed my echo was friendly & put me at my ease. The member of staff who carried out my respiratory investigations again was friendly, put me at my ease & explained everything she was doing with me really well. The pharmacist explained my new medication. I left my appointment reassured that Dr. Puri & his team were caring for me & that I would be followed up in 8 weeks time.
