"Thank you to treatment centre"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

I visited the treatment centre for the first time today for a colonoscopy. I was very impressed by the calm and clean environment, the professionalism and efficiency of the staff, and their kindness and concern for my comfort and privacy. I was worried that it was going to be a very distressing experience but in fact I was made to feel very safe and re-assured. Thank you.

Dear Anon Thank you for sharing your feedback following your colonoscopy. I think many of us would share your anxiety ahead of a potentially undignified experience, so it is wonderful to hear that the team made you feel safe and reassured and that they showed kindness and concern for your comfort and privacy - which is so vital. I have bee receiving some lovely feedback recently about the team so it really does sound as though they have a clear understanding of what it means to Put Patients First, and that they are putting this into practice. Your feedback will be shared with them - I write them onto Thank You cards for their staff rooms or feedback boards. Thanks again.
