Attended this hospital first for an Endoscopy followed by 2 weeks later to have my gall bladder removed. I can only praise all the levels of staff that dealt with me. From pre admission to discharge I found everyone very kind, reassuring and professional in their duties. I suffer from "white coat syndrome" so to say I was nervous would be an understatement. Having never been into hospital before as a patient everyone went the extra mile to reassure me that all would be well, explaining every stage and procedure with kindness to my needs. My room and facilities were spotlessly clean and warm. Food was excellent and as I was kept in overnight as a last minute change of plan, food was provided by the catering team, even though the time was 22.00 hrs it wasn't a problem. My partner was allowed to stay in my room whilst I was in theatre which certainly helped with my nerves when I returned back to my room. Many thanks to everyone and although I do not wish to undergo any more surgery in the future I would definitely recommend and use Cheshire Spire Hospital again.
