Arrived at the pharmacy and presented my prescription where I was told there would be a 30 minute wait (bearing in mind there was only one person in front of me).
I took a seat where I waited an hour, when two people who came in after me got their prescriptions before me (by this time the pharmacy was full because it was 5pm).
Obviously I then went to the reception and asked where my prescription was. 10 minutes later the pharmacists said that the item was out of stock and they needed to contact the doctor for more information anyway. They asked for my contact details and said they would phone me tomorrow when they have spoken to the doctor and the prescription is ready to collect. 2 days later I am still waiting.
This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. It is extremely under-staffed considering how busy they are. A standard 45 minute wait is just not acceptable. Also, my prescription should have been checked when I arrived not an hour later. I am absolutely disgusted with this NHS service.
