"This is what the NHS can do"

I saw the gynae consultant following a smear test. I was treated with dignity and respect and had choices explained clearly. My wishes were taken into consideration and I was fully involved in decision making. I was fully prepped the same day and booked for surgery the following week. My experience at the day surgery was excellent. Efficient, high quality care from excellent staff at every level. I cannot fault the care I received.

I'm a nurse. The staff who cared for me didn't know this. I am delighted to say they cared for me as well as I would. Fantastic unit. My sincere congratulations on a top notch service. This is what the NHS can do.
