I was in Chase Farm Hospital to remove my left kidney stones on the 10/02/2014. I already had my first operation in Nov’13 to remove my kidney stone on the other side. I was satisfied with my first operation in November, but the operation this time in February was even better. All Surgeon, Doctors, and Nurses were so nice and helpful. Among them I’d like to specially thanks to 5 people who really saved my life. First of all, I would like to thank to my consultant, he removed my kidney stones in one operation (one stone size is 20mm and another one is 5mm, they are very big) without need to go back for another operation. I think he is a great surgeon, because I didn’t feel much pain after the operation. This is not easy. Most people felt terrible pain after renal surgery. Then in the recovery room, a nurse was so helpful to sort out my urine blockage because blood clots. She kept on changing my urine bag, I felt so grateful. After I was moved to Wellington Ward Bay C6, I was in big trouble of urine blockage due to serious blood clots. The evening-shift nurse was so helpful, she kept on guiding my urine out of my bladder, changing my bed sheets whole sleepless night. I appreciate her more than words can express. She reminds me lady F Nightingale. Then in the morning, one young doctor came to show his colleagues the correct way to wash up my bladder. He was so gentle and patience. After he washed up my bladder, I started to feel much better, without him, I don’t think I could discharge from hospital on the third day. 3 Weeks later, on the 04/03/14, they removed my JJ stent, again they were so skillful that I felt painless during and after the operation. I feel so grateful to their help to save my life. One other important thing was the toilets were very clean while I stayed in Wellington Ward during 10-Feb to 12-Feb.
